INSTIGATOR & OWNER
to cause an event or situation to happen by making a set of actions or a formal process begin.
I would characterize myself as a paratrooper and a catalyst.
Like a paratrooper, I am at the ready to parachute into various communities to co-create, identify and execute opportunities in times of uncertainty or trauma. As a catalyst, I stimulate people along their journey to paint their dreams with words and actions and stimulate communities toward greater connectedness and collective vision. My personal vision in a nutshell; to enable people to thrive in their area of passion and celebrate each others unique contribution to the world.
I believe in the importance of being a life-longer curator of collective wisdom and its power to revolutionize perceptions, lives and governance. Problems, challenges and bottlenecks are seen as potential growth opportunities. I use storytelling, experiential learning, and human-centered design methodologies which unearth underlying structures, social networks and systems within cultures and daily practices.
That’s why I will travel almost anywhere to make a difference. In the process I have been transformed profoundly as I have witnessed others do the same.
I have worked internationally in facilitation design and implementation within corporate, government and charitable organisations. Being global, I work digitally and on-site for numerous projects centered around communal empowerment, inclusion, and diversity; through values-driven and vision-guided dialogues, I help communities and cohorts generate sustainable strategies, accelerate learning, and jump start cultural shifts.
Instigation, was founded in Amsterdam in 2008, where I have worked on multinational projects, glocal initiatives and personal coach. I have also been on the board of several organisations, most recently SH!FT Foundation where I serve as a co-director and co-founder.
